ChaosPro

Developer Martin Pfingstl came up with the freeware software application ChaosPro for those who are interested in fractals and want to create computer generated art. So if you want to start creating some beautiful fractals using a powerful and properly good application, then by all means go ahead and get the ChaosPro application.

The first step is to get a 7.2MB installation file off the web and onto your computer, something that will take little of your time. Then you must run the installation file and follow the instructions presented by the setup wizard to install ChaosPro. The application can be installed on any PC powered by any version of Windows from Windows 95 onward. The more RAM you have and the better processor you have, the smoother ChaosPro will run.

ChaosPro does not put a shortcut on your desktop and the setup wizard does not present you with an option to put one on your desktop. So to launch ChaosPro, go to the ChaosPro folder in the Start menu or to the directory where you installed the application.

If you have used an application of this type before, the interface should not take you by surprise. There’s a large preview pane to the left, the buttons for the main functions are at the top, and the many parameters you can play with are to the right. Using its integrated compiler, ChaosPro can create a large variety of fractals. You can choose between various formulas to create fractals, and you can write your own formulas if you want to. ChaosPro supports the following main fractal types: Escapetime, Attractor, and Quaternion.

As I’ve already mentioned at the top, ChaosPro is freeware. You will not have to part with your hard earned money to enjoy the functionality this application has to offer.

ChaosPro is a free, powerful, and properly good fractal generator you can use to create beautiful computer generated art. I don’t see what’s not to like about it.
